Wow what is the world coming to when another Christian Holiday has been turned into a marketing money spinner , All souls was the day Christians remembered all those who went before us .........
Now its Jacko lanterns and kids running round the streets
asking for sweets ,
Where do all those old traditions go to die to be replaced by some new shiny money making idea for the likes of Cardies ?
Do any of the Gen X's or Gen Y's care ?
Am I just an oddity ?
Well this has been my second rant to the world , next time I promise my proposed travels will be my main topic ...

I am in Quito, Ecuador, and I was surprised to see Halloween parties (although in the tourist area) at the bars. There were Halloween decorations everywhere and even a few people dressed in costumes. I was later told by someone from Argentina that the Latin American countries close to the US do Halloween celebrations because of the tourism.
